Crustaceans Are My Kryptonite

by Kevin M Roy on June 22, 2010

If you’re going to read my blog, you should at least know a little about me.

I’m allergic to shellfish.  If we’ve ever broken bread together I’m sure it’s come up at some point in the conversation. So, if you’re looking to have me over for dinner or want to take me out, I’ll pass on crabs, lobster, oysters, shrimp, mussels, scallops, abalone, and just about every other type of crustacean.

If you’re going to know any trivial facts about someone, I think a great place to start should be their allergies…

That way, when you think you’re being nice and offering them something you’ll at least know what not to offer him or her. People will thank you for the fact that you care enough to remember their krypotonite.  Otherwise, you can play the forgetful card or half jokingly say that you’re secretly trying to kill them.  Food allergies are kind of a big deal nowadays, so keep up the good detective work and add that little tidbit to the notes section of your smartphone.

What? You haven’t added my contact info into your iPhone or Blackberry yet?

What kind of entrepreneur are you?  Every person you meet who could even remotely help your business should go into your contact list: especially someone as cool as me.

Here, I’ll help you:

First: KEVIN

Last: ROY

Company: The Flight Squad

add new phone: 1-877-57-KEVIN

ringtone:(You’re not going to have to worry about this because you’re going to be the one calling me, practically begging me to create a custom promotion for you that will bring in ten times what it costs... It Will Make Your Phone Ring With Qualified Leads: Guaranteed!)

add new email: RoyLaboratories@gmail.com

add new URL: KevinMRoy.com

add field: “This Guy Will Help Me Make Money”

add field: Allergic to shellfish: Prefers rib eye cooked medium

Alright, that should do for now.  It’s all about sharing information and passing on relevant contacts to other people.  If you know a business owner who’s willing to try some fun and crazy marketing ideas, have him or her give me a call.  I have an affiliate program and I’ll pay you for talking about me.  Yeah, that’s how I roll, and it’s how business is being done nowadays.

-Kevin

P.S.  Don’t say I didn’t warn you.
